How can you HELP?

You are invited to join us as a sponsor or donor to our upcoming Men’s Conference, “Empowering Lives Building Resilience and 1st Annual “Unsung Heroes Award” Banquet Dinner that evening in the same location on the same date. The Theme of the Men’s Conference is “EMPOWERING LIVES, BUILDING RESILIENCE”: Have you been impacted by police violence or community violence, or unfairly arrested by this criminal justice system? This conference focus on empowering these fathers, sons, brothers, uncles, and men on how to recover from tragedy, trauma, risks, and stress to imparting knowledge on how to turn their “Pain to Purpose”.

Every Impacted Man has a story…. Sometimes it’s the wound that is unseen that hurt the most. They can affect mood, thoughts, and behavior, yet these wounds often go unrecognized and unacknowledged.

During the conference, men will:

Participate in a specially designed Mental Health workshop to deepen their understanding of tragedy, trauma, risks, and stress on health

Participate in intimate conversations with leaders representing Impacted fathers, who have turned their “Pain to Purpose”.

Understand the protective conditions that can be implemented to reinvigorate the resilience we have within.

Learn how unrecognized and unacknowledged post-traumatic conditions can affect mood, thoughts, and behavior

Build a support base for men

Participate in an immersive experience of Oakland activism culture and traditions

Participate in a men’s chess tournament thought-out the conference

If you feel inspired, please sponsor an Impacted father to the conference – sponsorship will help subsidize costs of travel and accommodations.
