Our Mission

The Love Not Blood Campaign, (LNBC) is a 501(c)(3) grassroots social justice organization that bring families together that have been traumatically impacted by police violence or communal violence. The LNBC provides compassionate holistic care by creating space for impacted families building a powerful political movement for police accountability and transparency.

All of our work at Love Not Blood Campaign is guided by our vision for a racially just society. We dream of a day when families will not have to be traumatized by police violence, including communal violence. When all families are granted justice and supported through their traumatic experience of police violence. When every family is safe from police violence and communal violence.

In service of this vision, Love Not Blood Campaign adopted an ambitious purpose: to support and embrace every family impacted by police violence and communal violence in building a political movement to eliminate police violence and structural racism from our society.

We do this in three ways:

• providing a Rapid Family Response team for impacted families,
• nurturing impacted family bonding and unity building, and
• building a political movement for police accountability and transparency.

At Love Not Blood Campaign we have found that it has been through hard work and tireless organizing that real healing can come about. Building family organizing is a holistic health experience, one that invites families to share in healing through resistance organizing.

Our impacted families recognize families in their individual work and commit to supporting these families and their communities by coming together to create a police accountability movement to move the Criminal Justice System to it’s fullest potential for justice and accountability.

Our Vision:

The world where no one has the right to take the life of another and be protected/ insulated from the consequences of doing so by a system of structural racism, obfuscation, and propaganda.

Our Slogan:

“Bonded By Blood, United in Love”

Our Motto:

“It is always, always, always about the children”

Our Values are Guided By A Commitment To:

Accountability Justice

We support the development of a powerful political accountability movement to eliminate structural racism and create a racially just society.

Family Leadership

Efforts to achieve police accountability must be defined and led by the families most affected by police violence.

Healing through Resistance

We believe Healing through Resistance can play a powerful role in changing hearts and minds, which ultimately shape policies and practice.
